ABOUT

ARTIST BIO
Victoria, a native of Monmouth County, New Jersey, has always had a deep connection to the world of watercolors and acrylics, with a particular focus on creating large mixed media pieces. Her art reflects her belief that imperfection is a vital force for growth, challenging the comfort of living in familiar spaces where true transformation can't take place. Driven by a lifelong curiosity, she self-taught a variety of painting techniques, which contributed to the successful sale of numerous original works through her website. Inspired by her fascination with the universe, Victoria’s art seeks to evoke the mysterious, using vibrant colors that emerge from darkness, capturing a dynamic contrast that symbolizes both the unknown and the beauty in embracing it.
Victoria's paintings and prints have found homes with collectors across the USA, Asia, and UK.
Education:

STATEMENT
I create art that explores the relationship between darkness and light, illustrating how they can only be truly understood in relation to one another. Despite the darkness in the world, there is always a light within each of us. Using salvaged materials and reclaimed objects, I reflect the journey of resilience. Each piece of my work embodies both light and dark elements, emphasizing the idea that light cannot exist without darkness. I work with a variety of media, including canvas, paints, inks, salvaged frames, gold leaf, fabrics, and other mixed materials. My creative process is organic and intuitive, driven by brushwork, paint pouring techniques, and the marks of my fingers. I enjoy layering dark tones with lighter hues to create an ethereal, almost otherworldly effect.
